Slingo Da Vinci Diamonds

Slingo Originals keeps coming up with new ways of keeping their flagship game fun and entertaining. This time, they’ve teamed up with slot provider IGT to bring you Slingo Da Vinci Diamonds.  

The base game has a new, exciting feature I haven’t seen on a Slingo game before, although slot fans will recognize it immediately. And once a lucky player reaches eight Slingos, they can opt to play the bonus game, a Free Spins round on the Da Vinci Diamonds slot, with a top potential win of 5,000 x the initial stake! I’ll tell you all about these bonuses below, but first let’s take a look at the symbols you can expect to see on the reel. 

Since this is, in fact, two games with two sets of reels, we'll look at each, in turn, starting with the 5x1 Slingo reels. As well as numbers, the following symbols can also land 

The Wild, the Mona Lisa, will let the player mark off any number in the column above it.

The Super Wild, the game logo, will let the player mark off any number on the entire grid. 

The Free Spin ball awards one free spin.

The X blocks a position on the reels to make it harder for the player to complete Slingos.  

If the player chooses to go for the bonus game, they’ll see a 5x3 slot grid with 20 paylines. The symbols used are three different polished gems, an uncut diamond and the game logo, which award line wins. There are also three portrait symbols that award both line and scatter wins. And the Bonus symbol will increase the number of Free Spins when three or more land. 

The first bonus is in the base game, and it's a new one to Slingo but not to slots. It's the Slingo version of the Cascading Reels mechanism, where once a number or Wild has been used to mark off a position on the grid, it disappears from the reels and a new one lands in its place. If this is also used, the process repeats.  

The Da Vinci Diamonds slot round has a max potential win of 5,000 x the line bet (the initial bet divided by 20) for five of the game logos on a payline. There are also the Da Vince portrait Scatters that award prizes of up to 30 x the initial bet for three or more anywhere in view. And the round can be extended to a total of 300 Spins if enough bonus symbols land, with three or more adding to the remaining total.
